In the fourth installment of the Resident Evil movie series, Milla Jovovich returns to play Alice, the tough and rugged center of the saga.
In this MakingOf featurette, we see how the Resident Evil filmmakers incorporated 3D for the first time into the series. Writer-director Paul W.S. Anderson had to take out some tricks which most directors use to film fight scenes because “in 3D you know that my hand is a foot away from my face…so if you want to see someone punched in the face, you have to punch them in the face.”
As Jovovich explains, “It is just the most action packed, the most crazy, just full on experience that you can imagine from a resident evil movie, I mean, I think it’s gonna be sick.”
