Known for movies such as The American President and When Harry Met Sally, director Rob Reiner brings audiences his latest film with Flipped, out in theaters this Friday. When second-grader Juli first lays eyes on her classmate Bryce it’s love from the start. The only problem is, Bryce absolutely despises Juli. For the next six years Bryce does all he can to avoid Juli’s attempts to swoon him, but when she finally moves on and starts dating another boy, Bryce can’t seem to get her out of his mind. Thus, the story is Flipped.
“It reminds adults of the feelings that they first had when they fell in love, and nobody ever forgets those feelings…and so it’s really for adults but kids will like it too. It really works for every age.”
