We recently sat down this past week with stunt coordinator Simon Crane and talked to him about what it was like to work on the new movie “Salt” and what it’s been like working with Angelina Jolie for the past decade.
He told us that when he looks at a script he tries to keep the stunts character based so that they follow the tone of the movie. The most challenging part in filming “Salt” he said was in keeping it real for a female action hero (Jolie) who did 99% of her own stunts. He said that in working with Jolie he always tries to coordinate the stunts around her physicality, given that she is as light as a feather. At one point when they were on the ledge of a ten story building she looked up at him and joked, “Remember, I’m a mother now.” Click here to watch the exclusive interview.
