Coming to theaters January 2011, Seth Rogen stars as newspaper publisher Britt Reid, who, along with his day job, moonlights as a masked crimefighter called The Green Hornet. Jay Chou joins the cast to play The Green Hornet’s valet and sidekick Kato, who happens to be a martial arts expert. Despite his best efforts at legitimizing his status as a crimefighter, The Green Hornet is considered so disreputable among law enforcement that he’s able to casually talk and even do business with known criminals. Michel Gondry (Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, The Science of Sleep) takes his first shot at directing the superhero genre, which should provide for some very interesting results.
The Expendables
In a blast from the past, Sylvester Stallone brings some of our favorite action heroes from the 80′s and 90′s together in “The Expendables,” due out in theaters this August. Stallone himself stars along with “The Governator” Arnold Schwarzenegger, Bruce Willis, Dolph Lundgren, Mickey Rourke, and Jet Li, bringing their action credibility with them. Joining the cast of fan favorites are some more recent action stars including Jason Statham, Terry Crews, Randy Couture, and, bringing in the WWE crowd, Stone Cold Steve Austin. Co-written and directed by Stallone, the film follows a team of hired guns sent to the small island nation of Vilena, given the mission of overturning the murderous dictator who has inflicted years of death and destruction upon the country. The men come to find out that the mission isn’t exactly what they have been told and find themselves caught up in a deadly game of deception, struggling to survive.
Reprising his role from the 1982 Academy Award nominated film, Jeff Bridges returns as Kevin Flynn in “Tron: Legacy,” the sequel to 1982′s “Tron.” Marking the longest gap between a live action film and its theatrical sequel in Hollywood history (28 years), “Tron: Legacy” follows Sam Flynn, the 27-year-old tech-savvy son of Kevin Flynn. After 25 years without him, Sam begins to investigate the disappearance of his father and finds himself sucked into the cyber universe where Kevin has been living since he vanished. Along with Kevin’s loyal confidante, father and son team up to embark on a treacherous journey through a visually-stunning world that has become incredibly advanced and ever-more dangerous through the years.

With only five days until her lobotomy the lines of real and imaginary soon begin to blur and, along with her friends from the institution who join her alternative reality, Baby Doll soon realizes that lessons learned in her fantasy world could help all of them to escape their real-world fate.
Green Lantern
Martin Campbell (Casino Royale, Edge of Darkness) directs this superhero film based on the comic book of the same name. Ryan Reynolds plays Hal Jordan, a USAF test pilot who becomes the first human ever inducted into the Green Lantern Corps, an intergalactic brotherhood sworn to hold order throughout the universe. With the help of his childhood sweetheart and fellow pilot Carol Ferris (Blake Lively), Hal must learn to harness the powers of the Green Lantern and help defeat the corps’ newest enemy–Parallax, who threatens to destroy the balance of power in the universe.

In this fearful town, iron-fisted Colonel Dolarhyde (Harrison Ford) rules all and nobody does anything unless ordered by the Colonel. When Absolution is invaded by aliens from the sky, the townspeople are struck with a fear they can scarcely comprehend. As the stranger begins to remember his past, he realizes that he holds a secret that could help Absolution defeat the alien force. Now banded together under one cause, a posse comprised of former opponents, Colonel Dolarhyde, outlaws, and Apache warriors join the stranger in the fight for their survival.
