MakingOf recently sat down with America Ferrara in Los Angeles to ask her what it was like on-set while filming the new movie "Our Family Wedding." During our conversation, she describes why the first day of shooting didn’t go as planned and how an unexpected fall kicked off the hilarious tone that lasted for the rest of the shoot. Ferrara also reveals that even though she is known for filming the popular, comedic television series "Ugly Betty," she doesn’t necessarily prefer comedies to dramas.
"Our Family Wedding" teaches the lesson "our marriage, their wedding" to a newly engaged couple through hilarious mishaps that occur when an entire family gets involved with planning the big day. The movie stars Forest Whitaker, Carlos Mencia, America Ferrara, Regina King and Lance Gross and will be in theaters on March 12th.
